P.A.R.T.Y. OUTREACH

P.A.R.T.Y. Outreach is an offsite full day program adapted from the In-hospital model. Clinicians from The Alfred travel to regional areas where they deliver the same P.A.R.T.Y messages of trauma prevention as the In- hospital program. The program is most often delivered from a performing arts centre which is transformed to reflect a working trauma hospital. Doctors, nurses, paramedics and police from the local area are involved in the delivery of the program which increases the effect and credibility of the messages given to the participants.

Since its inception, the Outreach program has been delivered to more than 3000 regional senior school students in Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Horsham, Mildura, Shepparton, Traralgon and Warrnambool.
